Ron Saxton

Chairman

Ron Saxton, JD, Executive Board Chair. 
Ron served as EVP and General Counsel of PeaceHealth from 2015 until February 2023. Prior to joining Peace Health, he was a partner at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, where he specialized in corporate strategy counsel, transactional, regulatory, and financial guidance. Previously, Ron was a member of the executive leadership team of global door and window manufacturer JELD-WEN, serving as executive vice president and global chief administrative officer.
Ron’s time with JELD-WEN followed almost three decades of legal practice, which included founding and serving as president of the Ater Wynne law firm. A former candidate for Governor of the state of Oregon, Ron holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Willamette University.  Ron has served on numerous corporate and civic boards and currently serves on boards of companies in both healthcare and building products sectors.
Ann Bunnenberg

Ann Bunnenberg

Board Member

Ann Bunnenberg, CEO of White Horse Consulting, is a medical device entrepreneur, investor, and business advisor, as well as a partner with the Oregon Venture Fund. She holds numerous board roles in addition to WellRithms, including Rewire Neuro, BIOMOTUM, Advamed Prime, Theana, and Invivo Biosciences.

Ann has extensive operating experience as COO and President of EGI from 1992 to 2017, as well as President of Synergic Medical Technologies from 2017 to 2018. She holds a BA from Stanford University and PhD and JD degrees from the University of Oregon.

Chief Executive Officer

After graduating from Oregon Health Sciences University, completing a fellowship in neuropharmacology at Vollum Institute of Advanced Biomedical Research, serving on the board for the Portland Rescue Mission for over 20 years, and founding Qmedtrix, Dr. Quarum founded WellRithms. As an expert in medical reimbursement and a legal expert with courtroom experience, he leads WellRithms in its mission to simplify payor and reimbursement models, having created the first integrated utilization management/bill review system.

Anna Quarum

Anna Quarum

Co-Founder & President

Anna Quarum brought her education from Liberty University, George Fox University, and Western Seminary and her background in education, chaplaincy, and property management to co-founding WellRithms in 2018. Shortly after, in 2021, she became Chief Operating Officer and was pivotal in the company’s ten-fold revenue growth.

In her role as COO, she handled compliance and rolled out an insurance captive for the company. Anna has spoken at prominent conferences such as NLMC and NLA and has been published in Benefits Pro and Insurance Thought Leadership.

In July of 2024, she transitioned to President of WellRithms. Outside of work, she volunteers for Meals on Wheels and international relief efforts.

Bill Mattecheck

Bill Mattecheck

Chief Sales Officer | National Director of Broker Relations

Bill, an Oregon State University Alumnus, started his career with Northwestern Mutual Life in 1977. Over the next 45 years, he led SEBS, founded Mattecheck & Associates, and stayed involved in carrier advisory roles and foundations, while supporting the Children’s Cancer Association’s JoyRx program. Now at WellRithms, Bill brings his expertise to strengthen relationships with insurance brokers.

Ira Weintraub, MD

Ira Weintraub, MD

Chief Medical Officer

After graduating with degrees from Indiana School of Medicine and Louisiana State University, Dr. Weintraub spent 40 years as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement, while becoming managing partner of his clinic and founder of a surgery center. Dr. Weintraub joined WellRithms in 2018, where he uses his medical expertise to focus on fair and transparent provider payments.
