Claims Account Coordinator

General Purpose

As a Claims Account Coordinator, you will liaise between the Sales and Operations departments by gathering and organizing data, triaging single-case claim submissions, creating case stories, and vetting multiple single-case claims. You will see each case from first intake to completion, handing it off to the Operations Department. Prior knowledge of third-party administrator (TPA) pay claims is a plus. In this role, you will report directly to the Chief of Sales.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to gather contact information, assign applicable agreements, plan documents, and track client accounts.
  • Manage and execute various agreements, including Single-Case Agreements (SCA), Non-disclosure Agreements (NDA), and Business Associate Subcontractor Agreements (BASA).
  • Support sales team with gathering data about the structure of the ongoing agreement and details that would create an SOW (statement of work).
  • Document, organize, and prepare reports of client interactions and progress, claim data bills and images into spreadsheets and files.
  • Schedule, attend, and transcribe client and demo meetings; input data into CRM and send follow-up communication and materials, as necessary.
  • Manage vendors, programs, and other third-party relationships for each case.
  • Deliver fully vetted cases and corresponding claims data to the operations department.
  • Format and deliver the operation department’s results to clients, sales, and finance departments.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of professional experience in a related field is required.
  • Insurance, Account Management, Sales, or Health Care (administrative or vendor) experience is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating virtual meetings (Teams, Zoom, etc.) and managing remote collaboration.
  • Experience with Adobe DC PDF Editor, project management software (Asana), and sales CRM (Monday.com) preferred.
  • Experience supporting HIPAA compliance and managing protected health information preferred.
  • Experience with sales tactics and a desire to develop personal and professional growth.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
